A wonderful annual festival, where the military and police bands of Oman, and
international guest bands from Austria and Jordan converge on the maidan to
provide a monumental spectacle. This popular sell out festival will take place
over three evenings. Spectators take their seats outside on the maidan in the
embrace of the opera house and Opera Galleria, to enjoy a dynamic presentation
of culture, enriched with brilliant costumes, and the distinctive parade dress of
national military and police bands. Drawing audiences from across generations
and nationalities, this is a celebration of the partnerships that bridge differences
through music
