THE PIANO DUEL

Each year, La Salle Gaveau hosts a prestigious competition to discover new stars. For the first time, ROHM will collaborate with the hosts to present another play off for the piano category. In the ‘Piano Duel’ two former winners of the toughest World Music Piano Master of Monte Carlo competition, under the High Patronage of S.A.S. Le Prince Souveraign of Monaco, also known as the Prix of Rainer III Prize, Aristo Sham (2023 Grand Prix) and Nikolai Kuznetsov (2021 Grand Prix) will battle on stage again. Performing major pieces of importance from the piano repertoire, including Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No.3 and Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No.1, audiences are invited to discover for themselves which of these two artists would win in a duel. An exciting and original evening awaits!

First Part: 50 minutes
