Two unique concerts celebrate the music and life of one of the most important
figures in the history of Arab music. A week-long festival will run alongside these
special concerts, with an exhibition on Mohammed Abdul Wahab’s life and works,
and an exclusive screening of his pioneering musical film. Prominent 20th century
Egyptian singer, actor, and composer, Abdul Wahab is best known for his romantic
and patriotic works. The first concert will feature prominent singers Ali El Haggar
and Mohammed Mohsen, performing songs sung and composed by Abdul
Wahab. The second evening will spotlight on the works he composed for the great
