A wonderful annual festival, where the military and police bands of Oman, and
two surprise international guest bands converge on the maidan to provide a
monumental spectacle. This popular sell out festival will take place over three
evenings. Spectators take their seats in the embrace of the opera house and opera
galleria on the maidan, to enjoy a dynamic presentation of culture, enriched with
brilliant costumes, and the distinctive parade dress of national, military, and Royal
Oman Police bands. Drawing audiences from across generations and nationalities,
