​In celebration of the third Accession Day of His Majesty, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq al Said, the Royal Opera House Muscat is delighted to announce new performance 'A Special Event Featuring Plàcido Domingo with the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra', will take place on Monday 16 January at the Royal Opera House of Musical Arts, on the stunning al fresco maidan.

The concert will include the participation of the prestigious Choir Camerata Musicale of Parma, the Omani Opera Choir Group and Hamdan Al Shaely, resident conductor of the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra.

The concert, entitled 'A Special Event', will feature a programme from across the classical repertoire including the pieces from contemporary Omani composers and from the traditional classical canon of Western composers such as Rossini and Beethoven.
