FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE - THE MARIINSKY THEATRE EXHIBITION

Opened in 1860, the Mariinsky Theatre was the pre-eminent music theatre of late nineteenth-century Russia, where many of the masterpieces by renowned Russian composers were premiered. The theatre has earned its stellar place in the history of Russian culture and is still today a place of artistic excellence and creativity. ROHM has organised a fascinating exhibition displaying costumes, programmes, props and iconic items from the archives of the Mariinsky Theatre, the company which will present Alexander Borodin’s Prince Igor on the ROHM stage.
