YouThinkers Theatre Company presents reading sessions from Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and
Juliet, Much Ado about Nothing, Haml. The reading sessions are for every age group, in both English
and Arabic, bringing to life the words of one of the most famous writers in the world, making
Shakespeare relevant, fun, and fresh for everyone.
Enjoy a delicious lunchtime concert of arias from A Midsummer Night's Dream, performed by opera
singers from the production. This is an informal concert, open to everyone to attend. Set in the
Opera Galleria with optional seating, we look forward to seeing you all there.
Ahead of his lecture on Shakespeare in theatre, Honourable Dr Abdul Karim Ali Jawad Al Lawati will present a workshop for theatre
students, discovering the mechanics of plot behind his plays. This workshop will be delivered in

theatre. For Arabic speakers only, Dr Al Lawati is a regional expert on Shakespeare.
Finding the Will is a visiting theatre company presenting workshops on Shakespeare for children.
Actors and theatre professionals deliver engaging content from a range of Will Shakespeare's plays,
focussing especially on A Midsummer Night’s Dream, to provide an amazing insight into the world of
theatre and the bard himself and to inspire creativity in young minds.

Gaston Fournier Facio will deliver one of his popular lectures on the appearance and use of
Shakespeare in music and opera. Renowned for his entertaining style and fascinating delivery of
historical knowledge, Facio will present his lecture in English in the Music Library of ROHMA.
Following on from the lecture from Gaston Fournier Facio, wind your way down to the Opera Galleria
for a special pop-up concert with a program of Shakespeare's stories in opera arias. Singers, piano,
and a small ensemble of musicians will fill the halls with song.

knowledgeable and witty. In this talk he will focus on the detail of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, with

A pre-performance talk will take place at 6pm ahead of the performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream
