Music Video Competition!

Age Group: 8 – 14 years old
The future is now! Technology has paved the way for artists to innovate in a million different ways and we want you to be a part of it!
Create an original short (60 seconds or less) music video for one of the following music pieces:
◾ You can craft a story based on the music, or interpret the music abstractly. Just be as creative as possible! Use a phone or any type of camera to record your music video.
◾ The competition is open to students in all public and private schools of Oman. Students are invited to submit an original music video set to one of the two music pieces provided. A panel of judges will evaluate and decide on the best submissions. The winner will receive two tickets to any show from the 2022 season. A screening of the best videos will occur during the PAST AND FUTURE Open house on 5h March 2022.

Competition Guidelines:
◾Videos must not exceed 60 seconds (one minute). Any video over 60 seconds will be disqualified. Only one video per student will be accepted.
◾Videos must be in landscape format.
◾Videos must be an mp4 file.
◾Videos must have a short title and a descriptive text (word document) of maximum 100 words in (English or Arabic). Title/Text should NOT be in the video.
◾Videos must be originally shot and does not include any endorsements of products or services, or any inappropriate content. Videos that do not comply with the rules will be automatically disqualified.
◾No professional help is allowed. Adults may assist with production but are limited to verbal guidance only. Adults are allowed to be actors or cameramen but not content contributors or creators.
◾If video features any individuals, a written consent must be provided by the individuals or by the legal guardians of those individuals.
◾Each video submission must have attached in the e-mail or word document: Participant's name, age, school and contact number and e-mail.
