EVENINGS OF SUFI AND INSHAAD
IBN ARABI ENSEMBLE AND AL ZAWYA BAND

Ibn Arabi Ensemble is a Moroccan Sufi singing group that is considered one of the oldest Sufi groups still performing today. It was founded in 1988 in the city of Tangier. The ensemble specialises in Sufi instrumental music and Sufi chanting and attempts to revive the well-known and popular historical musical tunes in Sufism: from famous Sufi poems by well-known figures such as Ibn Arabi, Ibn Al Farid, Rabi’a Al Adawiya, Al Suhrawardi, and others. Chanters from Oman will also participate.
