To honour the inaugural season of the House of Musical Arts, ROHM has
created an original production of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte based on Oman’s cultural traditions, set in-country, and innovatively staged by Davide Livermore. The production brings to the stage connections between the cultural heritage of the Sultanate and Arab traditions with the universal themes in Die Zauberflöte. Aigul Khismatullina is the Queen of the Night, Antonio Poli plays Tamino, and Markus Werba is Papageno.
The opera will be performed by “I Barocchisti” Orchestra, conducted by Diego Fasolis.
A pre-performance talk will be held 1 hour prior to the performance. (For ticket holders only.)
Al Mandoos on 29th December at 7:00 pm.
