VIENNA CLASSICAL PLAYERS

AN EVENING IN VIENNA

Loved and admired the world over, the Viennese waltz has become an iconic art form and part of our global heritage. It is synonymous with the name Strauss because of the contributions of Johann Strauss and his sons. Heirs to the fine traditions of this music, the Vienna Classical Players evoke the joyful elegance of the Viennese ambience. Conducted by Martin Kerschbaum with the special participation of Martin Breinschmid, two different concerts are presented with music from the Strauss family, Franz Lehàr, Leroy Anderson, Karl Michael Ziehrer and Johann Schrammel. The dances will be performed by four couples from the Weiner Staatsballett.
