Anna Netrebko has opened the new season at the Metropolitan opera three times in a row.

Typical of the many honours Netrebko has received are recognition by the journal, Musical America as “a genuine superstar for the twenty-first century”. After Netrebko’s recent debut in Hong Kong, the South China Morning Post declared, “No star shines brighter in today’s operatic world than Anna Netrebko. Not since Maria Callas has any diva created such an impact”.

Her distinctively beautiful voice, rich and lushly toned, can be massively powerful or soft as velvet. With abundant charisma and an arresting stage presence, Anna Netrebko makes an indelible impression. Appearing with Netrebko is the Azerbaijani tenor, Yusif Eyvazov, winner of the 2008 Grand Prix at the International Competition for Opera Singers in Milan. The ROHM programme includes an anthology of the greatest arias by master composers such as Verdi, Puccini and Rossini.
