MILITARY MUSIC: OMAN AND THE WORLD
WITH PARTICIPTING COUNTRIES JORDAN AND AUSTRIA
The Royal Opera House Muscat is delighted to announce the upcoming festival, Military Music: Oman and the World. Annually demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to building bridges between countries via musical performance, ROHM is thrilled that for the 2024-2025 season, the famous Military Music event will include participating groups from two countries rich in fascinating musical traditions. Jordan and Austria will join Omani military ensembles and Royal Oman Police Bands to perform three nights of marching, dancing, and music. As with tradition, the festival of music will take place in the open air, on the stunning Maidan of the Royal Opera House Muscat.
Military Music: Oman and the World draws audiences from across the world and across generations. The community of Muscat, including local people and tourists, come together as an audience to watch scenes of pageantry, and pomp, and enjoy the enriching rhythm and sound of marching music. Performed in the embrace of the Opera Galleria and the front entrance of ROHM, the maidan will be transformed into a technical amphitheatre for three exciting evenings.
Military Music: Oman and the World is taking place on Thursday 7, Friday 8 and Saturday 9 November at 7pm. For information on the upcoming shows for this season please contact the Box Office or visit the ROHM website or app.
