ROHM’s production of the acclaimed Zeffirelli staging will be performed by international stars, including Franco Vassallo, Enea Scala, and rising soprano Maria Kokareva, with the orchestra and choir conducted by Evelino Pidò, and the participation of the Omani Opera Choir. Debuting at the Royal Opera House Muscat in 2022, this remarkable production is among the most significant in the House’s repertoire. The final operatic vision of Franco Zeffirelli, with sumptuous costumes by Maurizio Millenotti, it stands as one of the most distinguished productions of Rigoletto on the international stage, combining Verdi’s powerful score with exceptional musical forces and the artistry of two of Italian opera’s most celebrated creative figures.
