Beyond Time by Taiwan’s U-Theatre creates an immersive multi-layered, three dimensional experience with imaging technology and dance movements that
simulate those of the planets in the solar system. The company evolved out of a
vision of artistic endeavour fused with ‘Tao’ as the natural order of the universe
through which one can find a true path in life that leads to wisdom. Drawn from
ancient and modern cultures in both the East and the West, U-Theatre’s productions
are grounded in disciplined training in meditation, drumming, martial arts, Tai Chi
dance and acting. Inspirational elements are drawn from music, literature, and ritual.
