The first Arabic star to perform in the Vatican, Emirati born Hussain Al Jassmi
has been credited with disseminating and popularising Arabic music to a broad
and emerging audience. His second concert at ROHM responds to the audience
in Oman with whom he is enduringly popular. His most famous hit is an Egyptian
Shaabi song, called Boshret Kheir, written and composed by Amr Mostafa as a proelections campaign song in Egypt. Since the release of his first single Bawada’ak he
has released Wallah Mayiswa and Bassbour Al Fourgakom, earning him the Murex
d’Or aware in 2008 as the ‘Best Arabic Male Singer’.
