I Solisti Veneti is an Italian chamber orchestra described by turns as both enchanting
and ferocious, made famous throughout the world under their founding director
Claudio Scimone for their performances of Vivaldi. The orchestra is also acclaimed
for its assiduous study and promotion of Venetian musical heritage and credited with
reviving hundreds of previously unknown works, uncovering several great composers
of the past. The concert will be conducted by Giuliano Carella and features a
programme including the highlights of the Baroque repertoire.
