In our annual Omani Women’s Day celebration, ROSO and the First Royal Ensemble
for Music and Folklore perform a concert dedicated to women, recognising their
immense contribution to Oman. The Omani Women’s Day concert is a heart-warming
event, combining local and international elements to reflect the global reach of the
opera house as a means of promoting collaboration and inspiring creativity. The
concert celebrates a diversity of musical genres: western classic, Arabic classic
and traditional, soloists and ensemble, singing and instrumental. The presentation
showcases talented Omani musicians and singers and features a surprise guest
pianist from Kuwait.
