ALEXANDER MALOFEEV WITH THE TATARSTAN NATIONAL SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

This concert stars the stunning young pianist Alexander Malofeev, an award-winning Russian virtuoso, whose extraordinary talent was recognized at the incredible age of 13 when he won the International Tchaikovsky Competition. The evening will include a stirring programme of Liszt and Rachmaninoff. Hailing from the Volga region of Russia, the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan has been celebrated worldwide for its elegant and sophisticated sound and dynamic approach to programming. Conducted by Alexander Sladkovsky, artistic director and chief conductor of the Tatarstan National Symphony Orchestra. Virtuoso, orchestra and conductor are frequent collaborators, promising a rich and fulfilling concert.
