In a beautiful concert with returning artist, composer and pianist Omar Khairat, audiences are invited to embrace this beautiful blend of cultures with a master of the art. Khairat’s music bridges contemporary Egyptian and Western music. Winner of awards both locally and regionally, most notably the Middle East Music Award and the 1993 Oman Award, Omar Khairat is especially renowned for his original arrangements of works by Mohamed Abdel Wahab such as Men Gheir Leh and songs of Umm Kulthum such as Enta Omri. Adding to the wide appeal of this talented artist, the concert will be enriched by the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra.
