TENOCHTITLAN DE PUEBLA MEXICO

LATIN-AMERICAN FOLK SONGS AND DANCES

The stage will be transformed with the colours of swirling costumes as dancers full of infectious joy and energy perform to the choreographed rhythms of traditional music from Latin America. Tenochtitlan de Puebla Mexico, a folk music company from the Mexican city of Puebla, was named Tenochtitlan after the capital of the Aztec Empire which flourished until the Spanish conquest in the early sixteenth century. Performed by eighteen dancers and ten musicians, the show also features the singers, Angelica Tepal Guzman and Carlos Encarnacion Lara. Stunning choreography is created by a team of artists led by Rosario Sombrerero Ramirez.
