Moscow, Paris, Venice, Nagasaki, India…. The operas of the season are set in exotic and inspiring places. How does the music sound in lands distant in space and time? You will draw your own musical map of the world and discover different cultures. Creative workshops and music activities specially tailored for children, teachers and for the entire family will be led by guest educators and artists.
Photographic Competition: Grand Tour
In the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, enterprising young people travelled on adventurous coach journeys across Europe to learn about art, architecture, literature, landscape and languages. Is it still the same today? What is the most exotic place you have been to? Send a photograph of a town, place, or landscape that has a very special place in your heart. The three students with the best photograph will be rewarded with two tickets for any concert during the current season, as well as a special gift.
