​The Royal Opera House Muscat is delighted to announce the return of Military Music: Oman and the World, a much-anticipated annual festival that celebrates the precision of marching tradition and the unifying power of music.

This vibrant open-air event showcases a dynamic fusion of ceremonial performance and musical artistry, featuring Omani ensembles alongside acclaimed international performers. The festival offers a unique platform for cultural exchange through music, highlighting the shared values of harmony, rhythm, and discipline.

Held on the majestic Maidan of the Royal Opera House Muscat, the event transforms the grand exterior of the opera house into a spectacular open-air amphitheatre. Audiences of all ages can enjoy stirring performances marked by synchronised movement, colourful display, and the architectural splendour of the Royal Opera House Muscat.

Military Music: Oman and the World will take place over three consecutive evenings: Thursday 6, Friday 7, and Saturday 8 November 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
