There will be a lot of excitement when the incredibly talented singer Kadim AlSahir comes to town for his engagement at the Royal Opera House Muscat. Celebrated as The Caesar of Arab Song, and Iraq's 'Ambassador to the World', superstar, Kadim AlSahir is renowned for the way he sings romantic poems, especially those of Nizar Qabbani. Kadim radiates a powerful charisma on stage that connects him intimately with audiences and ensures a wide following in both Arab and European countries. Most of his compositions are on the theme of love, and many are written for famous singers such as Magida El Roumi and George Wassouf.
AlSahir has performed notable duets: Al Mahkama, with the beautiful Moroccan singer, Asmaa Al Munawar and Mn Ynqth Alalam with the popular Tunisian singer, Latifa. Among his most famous songs are Quli Uhibbuka, Zideeni Ishqann, and Eid Al Oshaq. With many successful international tours, Kadim AlSahir was named a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador in 2011.
